Terrible, Terrible, Terrible, service! I will NEVER spend MY money here again. I've had my sofa replaced three times because it falls apart. The last time I asked for my money back and I was told no. I can only have my sofa fixed. It's unrepairable and I spent over $800.00 on it. Add comment

I have received horrible customer service. After 1 year of a repeat issue I asked for my money back. It was a hassle indeed to get my money back. Its been 2 1/2 weeks since they picked up the furniture. No check as of yet. I call about it and no one seems to know anything about the status. So furious right now. I will be taking legal actions. I had a smiliar problem like this they gave me the showroom floor bedroom Set.... I pick out.. It was damage then they told me I couldn't pick out another one ... N I ask for the manager then so they let pick out one I didn't like it I was cheap... So I ask them to replace the piece that was damage.. They said it was off the market .. I purchased a three piece leather living room set from Valued City Furniture Store and I've had one problem after another with their product. The first event was when they sold me the showroom pieces that started to completely fall apart. When I called to let them know about the damages with the set, they didn't want to fix it under the Warranty. The salesperson, Violet, was very helpful and knowledgable about the product. Their American Signature series is solidly built furniture for the price: a real bargain. My only complaint, and it would have been a deal breaker had I known it before I made the purchase, is their delivery policy that I was unaware of until 3 days before delivery: They expect me to give them an entire day of availability up until the night before when I'll receive a call for a 2-3h window. I ordered a 5 piece dinette set back in Feb 27. I went into the store located at 4095 Richmond Rd, Warrensville Hts, Ohio 44122 and paid $107 to have it delivered. They gave me a original delivery date of 3/18/16. They called to give me the time window the evening prior to my date of delivery. I stayed home from work( delivery was a friday) and they never showed up, never called nothing. Bunch of LIARS and THEIVES. DO NOT LET THESE GUYS INTO YOUR HOUSE. I had a furniture pick-up scheduled. The guy who came for the pick-up ended up stealing a Best Buy gift card that was lying on the ottoman. Since my husband felt his behavior was a little fishy when this guy was around that ottoman, he quickly checked all the stuff that was lying on the ottoman after he left. Had a sectional delivered 3/4/2016. Delivery guys took the plastic off outside then damaged it as they brought it in. Waited 3 weeks for replacement. That one damaged too it didn't even make it out of the truck. Delivery guys said that was how they received it and it was wrapped. Really? So now I am waiting another week for replacement. False advertising. I ordered a lot of furniture. It said 3 weeks till delivery I was ok with the long 3 weeks just before a special event. Then they call and say order is on back order and it will be 3 more weeks. Wow over 1 month for furniture. Would have never purchased if I knew I would not have furniture for the event like it said online. Awful company Add comment

Buyer beware at the Value City Furniture in Newport News. The manager was absolutely disrespectful, would not answer my question, told me he was doing me a favor. He was telling me the "policy" but could not show me in black & white. This was all over $120 delivery charge. They have now lost my business forever & I will post everywhere the horrible customer service they provide especially by this so called manager! That place is a joke!
