I went to value city furniture to buy a bed which cost me $2310 dollars I had to wait over 3 weeks for them to deliver! Purchased $7000 worth of furniture in June 2014. Right from the point of sale I should have departed with my money. Paid cash and immediately had to return to the store because I had been charged twice for one item. I bought a very expensive bedroom set from Value City Furniture. The first delivery the frame on the mirror was chipped and the headboard had 4 big very visible stains. I purchased a Mattress at VALUE CITY FURNITURE and was told if i was not satisfied I could return it by the salesman. After 2 days of sleeping on it we went back to return it and the manager told us they never return mattresses. Went to Value City in Toms River, NJ. Tested several mattress and chose a Sealy Posturepedic North Bay Ultra Firm. The mattress delivered had the tag on it but it was not the quality of the one in the showroom. It is so flimsy it moves every time I bump into it.
